Episode 48: My Zune and Me

Today, I found my Zune and charger. (So what did you do with it Chanelle giiiirl?) I charged it up and hit play. Of course I had to update the software first. I know its looks bad now but it didn't always look this way.

My Zune (T'zipporah #1) was the first big investment I made when I got my first job back in 2008. The reason I stopped using it was because it stopped working (I may have dropped it a few times). But now that I've reconnected with my zune, I've fell in love with this music all over again. So here it is...

Episode 47: My FIRST hater

You know you made it big when someone takes the time out to tell you how bad a job you're doing and basically, hate pon yuh rass.

Many of you have seen my video, Black Women Dating and I knew that it was going to stir up some controversy, but down right HATE? #NeverHaveIEver. Nah I didn't expect this. First of all, if anything was unclear, let me clarify. I don't own a gun so I'm not threatening all black women to date outside their race. Nor am I asking black women to swear off ALL black guys. I was simply trying to point out the differences between black women dating and black men dating. 

I already have to fight with: 

other black women, 

black men, 

women of other ethnicities, 

jail 

and groupies 

to get a black man.

So while being away from church for the next few weeks, I need to find ways to worship the Lord in my  house. So this weekend while my sister was cleaning her room, she found my old ipod (YES! T'zipporah's back!) and on it was "Psalms 24". I thought this was the song by Juanita Bynum but surprisingly it was by my good friend Matt T (who no longer loves me, but its ok.) Since I found this song, I haven't stopped listening to it (except to hear my other new favorite song, "Call Your Girlfriend by Robyn in Episode 43) 

I've known Matt T. since I was like...born. He's been a really great friend to me over the years and I must say listening to this song really made me proud. I hope he know's he's singing at my wedding so...yeah.

Episode 43: Call Your Girlfriend

My life is a movie.
Not a cool action movie or a funny comedy, its a bitchin drama...comedy...action movie. Not fun when you're the star, plenty of fun to watch,
So remember that guy I was talking about in Episode 2? Well apparently he "broke up" with his girlfriend again...or they're on a break...or whatever the shit they're doing. (Yeah actually now that you mention it, just like in Episode 23 [Shaking My Noggin])

Not saying that I would or would never date him, but this song gave me some courage...

I have a couple of guys I would like to sing this song to. =/
