Gather 'Round, I Have A Story to Tell...
- I have often been told that I can't be taken seriously or I seem fake because I always have a smile on my face.("/...i didn't know smile size and seriousness had a negative correlation)This really
encouragesdiscourages me because I was always SO insecure when I was younger. I was ugly, tall, Ugly, a nerd, UGLY, just an all around loser, (did I mention Shrek had nothing on me? DON'T LAUGH...ok laugh). But one day I realized I have to stop letting other people dictate my actions or controlling my feelings. - I remember asking one of my friends "What makes you mad?" and he told me "I don't get mad" (*side eye* What? He's DEFINITELY not a New Yorker). But what he meant was that he doesn't sweat the small stuff or complain about the big things. (A man's gotta do...what a man's gotta do.)
- I made a promise to myself that I was going to live life for myself (and God...duh). Ever since then, I have been living with joy shining through me so much I can be a little annoying (just ask my friends). I never professed to being the perfect person because...well, I'm far from perfect. But I do know the one thing that keeps me positive is a positive attitude. I do get mad over some things but the key is to remember the bigger picture.
- If it's NOT worth it, don't sweat it; if it is worth it, go straight through enjoying each and EVERY moment.
- So, if you know I'm going through some crazy stuff, but you see a smile on my face and joy in my heart, send a word of encouragement (a : something that makes someone more determined, hopeful, or confident). It costs no money and almost no time (with all the electronic social
viruseswebsites out there.)
And I will close with an original quote:
reading, Ochelle)-->
"Try LOVING before Hating.
Try LISTENING before Debating.
Try SMILING before Crying.
Try LIVING before Dying.
Try THINKING before Talking.
Try CRAWLING before Walking.
Try FRIENDS before Lovers.
Try THANKING GOD before thanking others."
I'll Take You To The [MAKE-UP] Shop...
I just wanted to share, The "Telescopic Mascara" by L'oreal is amazing. The brush isn't fluffy like most other mascaras, it's more like a comb for your lashes. I almost want to 100% guarantee longer fuller lashes because I believe in this product so much. And its also good with covering up grey hair, lashes (mustaches, beards, chest hair, I don't judge.) Its about $10 and you can get it from any drug store (Walgreens, RiteAid, etc). If I'm not wearing anything else ;), I'm probably wearing this mascara. Buy it, try it, tell me what you think.
So as always, SPREAD THE LOVE...
And REACH FOR THE SKY...
